Innovation, Honesty, Integrity, and a “Get it Done” attitude define Ed and his company. Since 1993, he has grown LDC using his vast experience, knowledge, and connections to the industry.
Lawrence DeCristofaro Sr., a tool maker and jewelry manufacturing executive, founded LDC Inc. in 1985. Ed took over the company at the age of 17, when his father took a consulting job in 1987. It was the beginning of his lifelong career in jewelry manufacturing and he can boast having built many of LDC’s machines and tools developing proprietary technology.
Edward became an owner of LDC in 1990 and full owner and president in 2003. He is well known and one of the most well respected individuals in the industry. Ed is the 2011 President of the Providence Jewelers Club, serves on the Board of The Jewelers Board of Trade, serves on the Board of The Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America, is a member of the exclusive Twenty Four Karat Club of the City of New York, and is also a member of the Boston Jewelers Club. He is also a partner in E&G Tool and Die Manufacturing.
